Crantock Beach, nr Newquay, Cornwall
Crantock Beach was voted the UK's best beach in 2013 by the BBC and it is stunningly beautiful. Situated at the mouth of the River Gannel which marks the boundary between Newquay and Crantock, and overlooked by the Pentire headland, the area has recently been established as a prime area of nature conservation significance in Cornwall.
